I reported on the outcome of Katie Price's latest debt hearing last year as she faced court again, with sources revealing to me that she had paid off a small sum of her £3.2million owed.
LAST-DITCH DEAL Katie pays part of £3.2m debt
KATIE Price avoided a court showdown yesterday with a last-minute deal to repay £3.2million debts.
The bankrupt reality star had been due at the High Court.
But she paid off a small sum at the weekend and has a new payment plan.
A source said: "She wanted to avoid court.
"Katie wants to pay back the money but it's been slow progress."
Katie, below, was declared bankrupt in 2019 and owes creditors including HMRC, her mortgage company and small businesses.
After a court hearing in December 2020, she had a plan to pay £12,000 a month but failed to do so.
Last month, it was reported that mum-of-five Katie, 43, had not engaged fully in paying creditors.
But yesterday an email to creditors said the hearing had been adjourned.
The case will be reviewed in eight weeks when the court will hear if Katie has kept up with repayments Last year she was hit with a repossession order on her West Sussex mansion after failing to pay a £500,000 debt.
But she has received £45,000 for Channel 4 makeover series Katie Price's Mucky Mansion.
